Are you as excited as I am about Group Publisher’s 2025 theme? In July we had the amazing experience of trekking on the ultimate Alaskan Adventure! My imagination (and camera!) was running wild with all the possibilities of transforming our building into the Alaskan tundra, complete with grizzly bears, bald eagles, raging rivers, mountains, and sea planes. Now that VBS is right around the corner, I’ve been posting items as I have them ready. Our VBS isn’t until the end of July, so I’ll keep posting as long as I’m still creating! What an opportunity we have to point kids to Jesus as our TRUE NORTH in a wild world where it’s easy to lose our bearings!

TREAT TOPPERS
How much energy do you still have left as you wrap up your 2024 VBS? Here’s a super fun way to promote next year’s VBS! Grab some zipper seal snack bags and fille them with teddy grahams, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Print the treat topper (you can customize it using the Canva Link to the left), fold it over the top of the sandwich bag and staple. Have your crew leaders hand out this fun little snack on the last day of VBS along with a verbal invitation and some big high fives. Your kiddos will DEFINITELY want to come back to trek with you next year!

I found your resources so helpful last summer when our church did Scuba VBS and I’m loving what you’ve created for True North this summer! Do you plan to share a daily VBS newsletter template like you did last year? That was a HIT here! I think parents actually read it because it wasn’t printed and lost on the way to their cars each day (I emailed them the newsletters instead and they LOVED that!).
