Here are a few resources to aid in inviting your church family to pray for your VBS. Please give me feedback regarding any issues with these resources as well as any additional resources you would find helpful.
WEEKLY PRAYER GUIDE
It’s so important that we invite our church families to join us in praying for the VBS mission. Here is one simple guide that can be used to this end. The Canva Template link below will allow you to edit this according to the needs of your own church. You can also add the VBS logo in place of the seashells.
I saw this idea somewhere and thought it was brilliant! It would even pair well with the weekly prayer guide (above). We’ve been finding seashells galore at thrift stores so this would be an inexpensive, yet meaningful reminder for people to pray for VBS.
Need seashells? Sometimes you can find bags of them at 2nd hand stores. Dollar Tree has some little ones too. I love this bag of about 70 shells from Amazon (the colors are so fun!).

M&M’S AND SKITTLES PRAYER
Here’s a fun way to engage your church family in prayer! Attach a bag of M&M’s or Skittles to the bottom of this and hand out to your congregation as a VBS prayer reminder.
GROUP’S DOWNLOADABLE PRAYER CARDS
Group has provided some amazing prayer cards specifically for Scuba VBS. They are free to download on their tools site. These are another great way to engage your congregation in praying for your VBS ministry.
