The Magnified Curriculum will surely be rich with engaging lessons and activities that keep the kids active and involved in each station. However, one size does not always fit all when it comes to VBS! Sometimes additional activities are in order—maybe for some extra engagement during snack time or dinner; perhaps during the time when kids arrive early; heaven forbid we have a stormy VBS day, but when it happens some improvising can be required; and extra activities can be helpful as follow up activities for kids to take home or to use on Sundays. Not every church is able to purchase the preschool activities, so some of the free printables here might provide some fun options.

I am just beginning to post resources, but many more will come by Spring.

Each of the resources below is available for download as a pdf file and/or image. In many cases, I have also provided the Canva Template Link so that you may edit the file to make it better meet your needs.

Please give me feedback regarding any issues with these resources as well as any additional resources you would find helpful.

MAGNIFIED DOT MARKER PAGES

When my daughter was younger, she absolutely loved dot marker pages! For the Magnified curriculum, here is one for each day of the week.

Need dot markers? They can be a little pricey, but the decent ones last awhile. I found this set on Amazon—pretty good reviews and less expensive than a lot of the others.

CONVERSATION STARTER CUBE

Snack time?
Arrival time?
Rainy day?
This versatile cube is a great way to get kiddos talking. Put one in each crew bag or on the tables during snack.
OR…Enlarge each square and tape it to the side of a cube-shaped box for even more fun tossing it around a room!

BIBLE STORY COLORING PAGES

Need a little extra activity that reinforces the daily Bible story? You are welcome to download or edit these super simple coloring pages.

DOT-TO-DOTS

Here are some dot-to-dot pages that feature “Today’s Point” and the “Zoom In” theme for each day.

COLOR-BY-NUMBER PAGES

Here’s another activity, especially for the younger kiddos. Color by number! Each daily color-by-number page includes the day’s point and bonus verse. Right click to download the jpg, download the pdf below, or access the Canva Template Link to make changes of your own.

Need Crayons? Here’s an affordable class set, perfect for both preschoolers and elementary age kiddos.

COLORING PAGE

Just looking for a simple coloring page to highlight Magnified? You are welcome to download either of these…or make your own edits with the Canva Template Link. Right click on either image and “save image as” a download to your computer…OR just download the pdf below.

If you are working with older kids or teens, here are a couple other options for some more intricate coloring with designs/patterns.

Lifeway has another one with some pretty flowers. You can link to it below

HANDPRINT PICTURES (FOR YOUR LITTLEST ATTENDERS!)

Here’s a little something for your toddlers. What’s sweeter than turning their sweet little handprints into art? Here’s a handprint art page for each day.

MAGNIFIED BIBLE VERSE PHOTO CRAFT PAGE

Here’s a super cute activity that makes a fun take-home page with the key Bible verse. It could also be a great way to decorate a wall.

Snap a picture of each kiddo holding a magnifying glass. Then print them out. The kids can cut out their picture (or teachers/crew leaders can help with younger kids) and glue them onto the coloring page. Color the page and look how cute it!

Need an inexpensive magnifying glass? This one won’t break the bank, but it has 10X magnification to make the kids’ eyes look nice and big in the photo! Cuteness magnified!

COLORING BOOKMARKS

Here’s another fun little Magnified promotion: Bookmarks that kids can color. Just make your edits, plop a few on a page, print them on cardstock, and slice them apart. Pretty simple bookmarks! You can use this Canva Template Link to edit in your own info.

No worries! Right click on any of the images below to copy them and then save them to your computer. Then you can use any of your own programs to add your church’s info.
CANVA HACK: For those of you who don’t have Canva Pro, you can also upload any of the images below to Canva and you won’t have to worry about the watermarks for images that require the upgraded account.

For the request in Spanish, you can translate in Canva. On the design, select the text box you want translated, right click, and select translate text, then select the language. This is a Canva Pro option, so you may want to save it and do a trial of Pro. During your trial, do everything you would like that is restricted by Pro and download it. Also, if you know an educator, they get free Canva Pro accounts.

I love the idea of doing color-your-own bookmarks!! It feels in extra time in crafts, encourages kids to read, and reminds them of what they learned at VBS. Hopefully with the name of the church on it, they will be encouraged to come back with their parents. Thanks so much for putting these together and offering them for free. I’m going to create some designs of my own as well as using these.

You have been a life saver. Thank you so much for helping with these items. We are a small older church and some of us wear multiple hats just to get VBS off the ground. God has blessed us with this free resource.
